Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (or 12.3 oz. package) firm or extra firm tofu
- 1/4 cup salsa (chunky style, low sodium)
- 2 tablespoons brown rice or wheat flour
- Dash black pepper
- Dash hot sauce
Instructions
- Thoroughly combine tofu, salsa and flour and scramble fry in a non-stick pan over medium heat for about five minutes.
- Season to taste with black pepper and hot sauce to taste (varies depending on salsa heat you choose).
- Optional: Garnish or season with any combination of the following: Sauteed onions, garlic and/or scallions, raw scallions. Onion or garlic powder. Dried chives. Fresh chopped cilantro.
